Child falls from third-floor window in Pawtucket

A child was in the hospital after falling from a third-story window, Pawtucket police said Saturday.

The child fell just before 4 p.m. from a home on Mulberry Street, which is between Randall and Pearl streets.

Police said the child lifted up the screen and fell. The child's father was home at the time, but did not witness the fall.

Pawtucket police said the child was alert and conscious at the time of arrival.

They said the 4-year-old was non-verbal and did not have any "visible injuries."

He was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital for treatment.
